JAMB has released a large portion of the 2026 UTME results, and here’s what students need to know  • 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲:    - 0.2% → 320 & above    - 0.4% → 300–319    - 3.8% → 250–299    - 17.1% → 200–249    - 50.3% → 160–199    - 25% → 140–159    - 2.9% → 120–139    - 0.2% → 100–119    - 0.1% → Below 100  • 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀:   𝟭. Very few candidates scored above 300, making it extremely competitive   𝟮. Scores between 200–249 already place you ahead of a large number of candidates   𝟯. The majority scored between 140–199, making this the average performance range   𝟰. Scoring 250 and above gives you a strong advantage for competitive courses   𝟱. Cut-off marks may still vary depending on school and course competitiveness

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has introduced a new “Profiled Email” service to assist candidates who have lost access to their registered SIM cards or need to update their email address on the JAMB platform. This service enables candidates to link a new email address to their profile, giving them access to important JAMB services and updates. STEPS TO USE THE PROFILED EMAIL SERVICE Step 1: Obtain and Complete the Template Candidates are required to visit an accredited CBT centre to request the official template (TEMPL 006). After obtaining the form, fill in the required details, including: ✓ Registration Number ✓ Phone Number ✓ Profile Code ✓ New Email Address (must not have been previously used on the JAMB platform) Candidates must also sign the declaration/attestation section to confirm that all information provided is accurate and valid. Stay informed and ensure your details are up to date to avoid issues during your admission process.

The Board has received numerous inquiries from parents regarding candidates whose results are currently displaying “No Result Yet.” Please be informed that results for underage candidates have not been released. When such candidates attempt to check their results, the system will return the message “No Result Yet.” As stipulated by regulation, only candidates who will be at least 16 years old by 30th September 2026 are eligible to register for and sit the UTME.  However, underage candidates may be considered under the exceptional category, provided they demonstrate outstanding ability by scoring 320 and above in the UTME and attaining at least 80% in subsequent screening stages. In line with the agreement reached and endorsed by parents of these underage candidates, only those who score 320 and above will be shortlisted and invited to proceed to the next stages of the screening.  JAMB RELEASES RESULTS FOR THE SECOND AND THIRD DAYS OF THE 2026 UTME ……1,897,692 results released so far The results of candidates who sat the examination on Friday, 17 April and Saturday, 18 April 2026 have now been released. A total of 1,264,940 results from these two days are available for candidates to check/view To view their results, candidates should send UTMERESULT to 55019 or 66019 using the phone (SIM)number they used to register for the 2026 UTME. The Board had earlier released 632,752 results of candidates who sat the examination on Thursday, 16 April 2026.  This brings the total number of results released so far to 1,897,692.  JAMB Please stop charging our children #50 Naira to Check the result that you haven't uploaded, Why charging them when they pay for the registration. Why not upload the result on portal as other academic institution does. Why paying for the application, still pay for upload of Olevel, Original result and also admission letter, this is unfair and uncalled for. This came up in our previous post comments immediately the spoke person to JAMB apologized on the late upload of results of day 2 candidates. This has sparkled reactions, 50 naira for over 2 million candidates is a huge amount of money aside from those that will have to send x5 messages before the institution will send them the result.
