JAMB spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, made this known in a statement shared on X on Tuesday, May 19.  According to the board, the delay is due to the conclusion of foreign examinations and preparations for the mop-up examination for candidates who could not participate in the main examination through no fault of theirs. “The printing of the 2026 UTME Original Result Slip has not yet been activated. Candidates are kindly urged to be patient as the Board has just concluded the foreign examinations and is also preparing to conduct the mop-up examination for candidates who were unable to sit for the main examination through no fault of theirs,” the statement read.  T he Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has ordered the withdrawal of 2026 UTME results for several candidates due to massive examination malpractice and high-tech fraud .  The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has commenced the withdrawal of certain 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results, with affected candidates expected to participate in a forthcoming mop-up examination.  According to notifications sent to some candidates, the Board stated that the affected UTME results had been withdrawn and that fresh examination schedules would be communicated in due course.
