  The Nigerian Air Force has commenced its 2026 recruitment exercise for eligible Nigerians seeking enlistment as tradesmen/women and non-tradesmen/women. The recruitment is for the Basic Military Training Course 47/2026, with online registration opening on Thursday, September 3, 2026, and closing on October 14, 2026. The application is free of charge. The NAF advised prospective applicants to carefully study the eligibility requirements and application guidelines before submitting their forms. ICYMI: FG AND FIDELITY BANK UNVEIL N500,000 YEIDEP GRANT PROGRAMME FOR NIGERIA YOUTHS

 The Youth Economic Intervention and De-Radicalization Program (YEIDEP) is a Federal Government of Nigeria initiative providing non-repayable grants ranging from ₦50,000 to ₦500,000 to citizens aged 18–35 (or up to 45), focusing on youth farmers and entrepreneurs. The program partners with banks to support businesses in agriculture, ICT, and vocational trades. 


Key Details on YEIDEP Grant (2025/2026 Updates):

Grant Amount: Non-refundable, interest-free grants of ₦50,000 to ₦500,000.

Target Sectors: Agribusiness, food processing, livestock, ICT, fashion, and vocational trades.

Eligibility: Nigerian youth (aged 18–35/45) with a valid National Identification Number (NIN) and Bank Verification Number (BVN).

Application Process: Registration occurred via the official YEIDEP portal, which has previously undergoneBatch A and Batch B phases.

Disbursement & Verification (2025-2026): Batch A disbursements were scheduled for late 2025/early 2026, with partner banks like Fidelity, Keystone, and others facilitating BVN verification for approved beneficiaries.

 T he Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has ordered the withdrawal of 2026 UTME results for several candidates due to massive examination malpractice and high-tech fraud .  The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has commenced the withdrawal of certain 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results, with affected candidates expected to participate in a forthcoming mop-up examination.  According to notifications sent to some candidates, the Board stated that the affected UTME results had been withdrawn and that fresh examination schedules would be communicated in due course. The notification reads: > “Your 2026 UTME result has been withdrawn. You will be rescheduled for the mop-up exam.
