JAMB spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, made this known in a statement shared on X on Tuesday, May 19.  According to the board, the delay is due to the conclusion of foreign examinations and preparations for the mop-up examination for candidates who could not participate in the main examination through no fault of theirs. “The printing of the 2026 UTME Original Result Slip has not yet been activated. Candidates are kindly urged to be patient as the Board has just concluded the foreign examinations and is also preparing to conduct the mop-up examination for candidates who were unable to sit for the main examination through no fault of theirs,” the statement read. 2026 MTN FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP ONLINE APPLICATION

The Delta State Government is pleased to inform all eligible Delta State students and the general public that applications for the 2026 MTN Foundation Scholarship Programme are currently open and will close on May 31, 2026.
This initiative is in line with the MORE Agenda of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, particularly his commitment to providing equal educational opportunities for all Deltans through quality support and empowerment in the education sector.

The MTN Foundation Scholarship Programme (www.mtn.ng/scholarships) offers an annual grant of N300,000 to successful applicants throughout their period of study, subject to maintaining the required academic standards.

 T he Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has ordered the withdrawal of 2026 UTME results for several candidates due to massive examination malpractice and high-tech fraud .  The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has commenced the withdrawal of certain 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results, with affected candidates expected to participate in a forthcoming mop-up examination.  According to notifications sent to some candidates, the Board stated that the affected UTME results had been withdrawn and that fresh examination schedules would be communicated in due course.
