  The Nigerian Air Force has commenced its 2026 recruitment exercise for eligible Nigerians seeking enlistment as tradesmen/women and non-tradesmen/women. The recruitment is for the Basic Military Training Course 47/2026, with online registration opening on Thursday, September 3, 2026, and closing on October 14, 2026. The application is free of charge. The NAF advised prospective applicants to carefully study the eligibility requirements and application guidelines before submitting their forms. JAMB2026: WHAT NEXT AFTER KNOWING YOUR SCHOOL JAMB CUTOFF MARK?

After knowing your school's JAMB cut-off mark, the next steps depend on whether your score meets that requirement. Meeting the cut-off only makes you eligible to be considered for admission; it does not guarantee it .

  • Upload O'Level Results: Ensure your WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB results are uploaded to the JAMB CAPS portal. Most institutions will not offer admission if this is missing.

  • Register for Post-UTME/Screening: Visit your chosen school's official website to purchase

    and complete the Post-UTME or admission screening form as soon as it is released.
  • Study for Post-UTME Exams: If your school conducts an entrance exam (like UNIBEN), start practicing with past questions immediately.
  • Monitor JAMB CAPS: Regularly check your "Admission Status" on the JAMB portal. Once offered admission, you must Accept or Reject the offer. 

    •  If You Did NOT Meet the Cut-off Mark

    • Change of Course/Institution: If your score is too low for your first-choice school or a highly competitive course (like Medicine or Law), apply for a Change of Course or Institution on the JAMB portal.
    • Consider Less Competitive Options: Look into state universities, private universities, or polytechnics that have lower cut-off requirements, such as those accepting scores of 150 and below. 
    3. General Advice
    • Print Original Result: You will eventually need the original JAMB result slip with your passport photograph for physical clearance at your school.
    • Avoid Scams: Be wary of anyone claiming they can "upgrade" your JAMB score or "run" admission for a fee

      The LASU acceptance fee for the 2026/2027 academic session is N30,000 plus an additional N30,000 for medical that is to be paid by fresh students who gain admission into LASU.      T he Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has ordered the withdrawal of 2026 UTME results for several candidates due to massive examination malpractice and high-tech fraud .  The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has commenced the withdrawal of certain 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results, with affected candidates expected to participate in a forthcoming mop-up examination.  According to notifications sent to some candidates, the Board stated that the affected UTME results had been withdrawn and that fresh examination schedules would be communicated in due course. The notification reads: > “Your 2026 UTME result has been withdrawn. You will be rescheduled for the mop-up exam.
